This week, s a part of or Sugar Smart Challenge, we were simply counting again and comparing our results to WEEK 1. Kallikids had sent us another counting chart that we hung on our fridge and counted away The results are inconclusive as we also spent a day At the hospital with Oliver.
During WEEK 1 I was drinking my coffee with one sugar and since then I’ve given up the sugar in my coffee and substituted the regular milk for A2 milk. I’m not a big fan of milk and only ever have it in either in my food or coffee and never on it’s own as a drink so I personally can’t comment on the taste of it However, my kids seem to really enjoy it o I had no objection of substituting what we normally have for the A2 version.
Milk hasn’t been our only substitute I also use almond milk for ur morning porridge and we’ve switched out our ketchup, baked beans and chocolate spread for the sugar free versions. Best decision ever 🙂 Kids are happy and so is mummy.
Easter weekend obviously brought out tons of chocolate eggs and I wasn’t strict it’s my kids, I suppose I can thank he weather for stopping us doing the hunt yesterday, as we are now doing it today instead,so I didn’t have to mark down all of those chocolate eggs I’ve stashed away in the cupboard. Phew!
